The Tenth Annual Yale Healthcare Conference

Fuad El-Hibri is the executive chairman of the board of directors of Emergent BioSolutions, a biopharmaceutical company located in Rockville, Maryland. As the former CEO, Fuad El-Hibri oversaw the development of medical countermeasures for the United States government. He is also on the advisory board of the Yale Healthcare Conference.

April 2014 marks the tenth annual Yale Healthcare Conference. A joint effort between the Yale School of Management and the Health Professional Schools at Yale University, it unites students, professionals, and academics in a conversation about how to further the industry. The upcoming conference theme is “The Changing Landscape of Healthcare: Create Value in Uncertain Times.”

Topics will include ways in which to increase accountable care organizations as well as new innovations in the health care sector. It will feature 40 different speakers in 14 different sessions. The executive panel will be lead by The Blackstone Group’s chief executive officer of equity healthcare, Dr. Robert Galvin, and it will cover the topic of payment and delivery reform in the health care industry.
