Fuad El-Hibri serves as the founder and executive chairman of the board of Emergent BioSolutions in Gaithersburg, Maryland. A graduate of Yale University with a master’s in public and private management, Fuad El-Hibri is a member of the advisory board for the annual Yale Healthcare Conference.

A collaborative effort between the Health Professional Schools at Yale University and the Yale School of Management, the Yale Healthcare Conference gathers scholars, professionals, and students for an informative dialogue about current issues in health care.
Called Improving Health and Healthcare: Bridging Society and Industry Interests, the 2017 conference featured two keynote speakers: Patrick Conway, MD, MSc, the deputy administrator for innovation and quality at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Daphne Zohar, founder and CEO of PureTech Health, a biotech pharmaceutical company.
